Product Certification
Our products are assessed carefully and comply with EU safety, health and environmental requirements.
To ensure all products meet the European qualification criteria, quality assurance tests have been performed
and all relevant test reports are available and are not older than 3 years.
Responsible chain management
We take the working conditions within our supplier factories very seriously. In order to achieve industry wide improvements, we are member of amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), a group of over 2000 companies that works to ensure that conditions in our suppliers’ factories are appropriate, safe, and meet legal requirements. Amfori BSCI conducts independent, third-party audits on our behalf. This is an ongoing process; suppliers’ factories are in an audit cycle which will not be closed.
Reach
The EU REACH regulation applies in different ways in different product areas. It addresses the production and use of chemical substances and their potential impact on health and the environment. Since standards are subject to constant change we closely follow the latest requirements (Annex XVII). Via our team of specialists we can ensure that there are no restricted substances in the products sold, and printing inks used.
EMC and RoHs
Technology and gadgets items are indispensable in our daily lives. Therefore we need to control the components used to negate the potential damaging effects of electromagnetic interference. In order to ensure our products function correctly and as designed, EMC testing has been implemented. EMC tests the ability of devices to withstand interference from other electrical or electronic equipment and environments and verify that any emissions cannot cause harmful interference. RoHs (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) tests determine the values of the six restricted substances (such as Cadmium, Lead and Mercury).
CE marking
CE is an abbreviation for “Conformité Européenne” (European Conformity). As part of our compliance procedure all products are classified under the relevant European directives and regulations. However, only for product categories subject to relevant directives or regulations are required (and allowed) to bear CE marking. Mentioned CE marking is a mandatory conformity marking within the European Economic Area (EEA).
